How do I transfer photos to my new iPhone?

Depending on how your iTunes sync is set up, your photos and captions may be transferred automatically. If it doesn’t you can back up your photos online then download them back to the app. Here’s how:

Register for a username and password here (if you haven’t already):

http://www.iphoneproject365.com/register/

If you have the free version:

Select a photo and tap the icon on the upper left corner (arrow icon).

Tap “Sign In” and enter your username and password. You only have to sign in the first time. Tap the arrow again.

At this point your photo will also be available to view online.

Repeat for each photo.

If you have the pro version:

Go to the pro version’s info page. Tap “Sign In’ and enter your username and password.

Select a photo and tap the icon on the upper left corner (globe icon), select upload.

Repeat for each photo.

You will need the pro version to download your photos (it costs $1 but if you need to download it for free I can give you a redeem code, just email me at iphoneproject365@gmail.com)

Backing up our photos, apps and documents will be easier in the future, now that we have the iCloud.

Photobook PDF

Generating a photobook pdf from our photos is close to being done. There is a link on the website for the print page. Simply enter your information and click submit. You will receive an email notification once it is up and running.

I am currently raising funds to purchase a server to host the code that will generate the pdfs. So please donate using paypal. Click HERE. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

If it’s still not working, please send me a screenshot at iphoneproject365@gmail.com

Facebook Upload Temporarily Not Working

Hello Everyone,

Uploading to facebook stopped working two days ago. Thank you for bringing this into my attention. This has happened before, and I’m confident that it will be working again in few days. If it does not, then I will investigate and release an update immediately.

Known bugs Update

1) Facebook Upload.  I have not been able to reproduce this but I realized that the newest version does not ask you to re-login, I suspect the reason why the login gets “cancelled” is because the email/password is wrong, perhaps it was changed recently.  So on the next version, which will be out soon, I’m forcing everyone to log in everytime you have to upload to facebook.

2) Photos showing up on the wrong year. I’ve added a feature that let’s you move multiple photos to a different year or single photos to any date.

3) Black space on Landscape photos when cropping is enabled. I believe this happens in the latest version of the iOS around iOS 4.2. I’ve tracked down what’s wrong but for the sake of not being overwhelmed I’m going to wait until the next version to fix this.

4) Crashing on iPhone 3G with iOS 3.1.3, I’ve finally got a hold of an iPhone 3g with iOS 3.x and the Pro version won’t open. The free version is fine. I’ll go ahead and fix this immediately. I won’t be able to support iOS 3.x in the future but I will make sure that the updates meant for the iOS4 won’t be available for download for iOS 3.x so that it doesn’t break anything.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Known bugs v1.8.1

Okay. Round 2 of bugs.

1) Facebook: Login Cancelled. Still working to reproduce this problem. If you are having trouble uploading to facebook, please email me the iOS version you’re running and which iPhone gen you’re using.

2) Photos showing up on the wrong date, after setting the start date. I will release an update with the ability to change the dates of each photo, and also I modify the set start date function.

Notes: If you set the start date, and your photos are missing, try restarting the app first. Browse your calendar to see if they show up on the wrong year.

Thank you for your patience. I’m currently overwhelmed by emails and bad reviews, I won’t be able to get back to everyone as promptly as before.
